Sub:-  SBTET – TS – Hyderabad – Academic –Model question papers of  Basic Science Lab Practice (109) and Applied Science Lab Practice (209)  –Communicated- Regarding.

With reference to the subject cited, the Basic Science Lab Practice (18Common-109P) and Applied Science Lab Practice (18Common-209P) practical subjects of I sem & II sem of C-18 curriculum have been given single subject code.  Therefore the examination of two subjects comprising 50% of marks each should be conducted with a single question paper dividing the experiments with equal weightage.

Therefore, all the Principals are hereby informed to download the examination pattern and model question papers of practical subjects as per Annexure for Basic Science Lab Practice (18Common-109P) and Applied Science Lab Practice (18Common-209P) of I sem & II sem of C-18 curriculum are placed in the SBTET website and communicate to the respective Heads of Sections with instructions to circulate the same among their staff & students.

BASIC SCIENCE LAB PRACTICE (18 COMMON 109P)

The examination of Basic Science Lab practice – 109P is conducted in two practical subjects i.e., Physics and Chemistry labs, comprising of 50% of marks each in a single question paper consisting of Part-A and Part-B. The Part-A and Part- B questions are set separately by Physics and Chemistry examiners. The student has to perform experiments in both subjects with a duration of one and half hour    (1 ½ hr) each on separate answer sheets simultaneously.

But a student has to get minimum marks of 20 (i.e., 50%) in both Physics and Chemistry practical labs cumulatively in the end examination.
